    ( from superior to inferior)

    • the left paratracheal stripe
    • aorta arch 
    • pulmonary trunk 
    • auricle of left ventricle

  3. what are the part of the posterior mediastium ?
    • esophagus ( most anterior)
    • aorta ( more on the left ) the azygos and thoracic duct are more towards the right 
    • the hemiazygous is more posterior to the aorta on the left
  4. how does distance affect x ray
    the close the object is away from the image detector it more nlarge the image will look
  5. what happens to the ribs in inspiration
    some of them will be hid in an X-ray ( usually 5 and below)
  6. how are the great vessels aligned when viewing anteriorly?
    the arteries are behind the veins
  7. what embryonic structure does the nucleus poposusu come from ?
    The notochord
  8. what part of the heart is most anterior?
    The ventricles.The right ventricle is the most anterior
