    • btw the trachlear of the humerus and the trochlear notch of the ulna 
    • found on the medial side of the arm
  2. Gliding joint
    btw the capitulum of the humerus  and the head of the radius
  3. Pivot joint
    between the head of the humerus and the radial notch of the ulna
  4. ulnar collateral ligament
    consists of a strong anterior cord and fan-like posterior cord
  5. radial collateral ligament
    • fans out from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus to the annular ligament
    •  the annular ligament is wrapped around the head of the radius
