  1. axillary nerve
    • innervated the teres minor and the deltoid 
    • goes through quadrangular space 
    • part of the posterior cord of the brachial plexus
  2. intercostal nerves
    arise from the anterior rami of T1-T11
  3. dorsal scapular nerve
    • comes off of C5 of brachial plexus 
    • on medial border of scapula 
    • muscles: levator spinae, rhomboid major, and rhomboid minor
  4. Lateral cord of brachial plexus
    • Branches: lateral pectoral, musculocutaneous, lateral portion of the median nerve
    • motor innervation to the anterior compartment muscles of the arm
  5. Lateral pectoral nerve
    supplies pec major
  6. Long thoracic nerve
    supplies serratus anterior muscles
  7. Lower subscauplar nerve
    teres major and subscauplar muscles
  8. Medial cord of brachial Plexus
    branches to medial pec. medial anetbrachi, medial brachi , ulnar, and medial 1/2 of median nerve
