  1. Posterior median sulcus
    Median crack/line towards back
  2. Anterior median fissure
    Opposite to crack that has more of an opening
  3. Central canal
    Oval shaped hole in the middle of grey thing
  4. Dorsal horn
    The largest horn that juts out of gray structure
  5. Lateral horn
    Horn facing away from central canal between dorsal and ventral
  6. Ventral horn
    Opposite of dorsal horn
  7. Conus medullaris
    The base of spinal cord before it splits off at the bottom
  8. Dorsal root
    Dorsal side of y shaped passage on left and right side of spinal cord
  9. Dorsal root ganglion
    Bulbous part of dorsal root
  10. Ventral root
    Opposite bulbous dorsal root
  11. Spinal nerve
    Where dorsal and ventral root combine into one
  12. Ventral ramus
    Very bottom base of y shaped spinal nerve that branches off spinal cord
  13. Dorsal ramus
    Single piece that sticks out on dorsal side of spinal nerve
  14. Dura matter
    Outside layer of spine
  15. Filum terminale
    Feathered out parts of spinal cord
  16. Arachnoid
    Covering on brain and spinal cord that go together
  17. Pia matter
    Inside matter of spinal cord. Right before cauda equina
  18. Caude equina
    Where spinal cord feathers out
