  1. Epidermis
    Everything above the blue squiggly line
  2. Dermis
    Tan looking base under epidermis
  3. Dermal papilla
    Top of dermis
  4. Reticular layer
    Majority of dermis
  5. Stratum basale
    1st layer deep of epidermis. The blue squiggly line
  6. Stratum spinosum
    2nd layer deep of epidermis. Grey and scaly. Spiny in appearance
  7. Stratum granulosum
    Middle layer of epidermis. Grainy
  8. Stratum corneum
    Top layer of epidermis. Most superficial
  9. Hypodermis
    Yellow bee hive looking structure inferior of dermis
  10. Arrector pilli
    Thick red muscle stemming from hair follicle gland
  11. Messimers corpuscle
    Oval shaped capsules at the end of yellow nerves in the dermis
  12. Osteon
    The entire cake like structure with hole in the middle and small holes on the rings
  13. Volkmans canal
    Horizontal canals under osteon
  14. Haversian canals
    Hole on top of the osteons. Vertical canals
  15. Lacuna
    Little holes in the rings of osteon
  16. Lamallae
    Lines on which the tiny lacuna holes are on
  17. Circumferential lamallae
    Lines that have lacuna that form circles
  18. Interstitial lamallae
    Lines with lacuna that DONT form a circle
  19. Endosteum
    Innermost part of bone with bone marrow
  20. Periosteum
    Outside layer of bone outside sponge
  21. Sharpeys fibers
    Where fibers that connect periosteum to spongy bone
  22. Canaliculi
    Vertical lines in between lamallae rings
