    • CC = lower abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding while pregnant

    US of pelvis to determine location of fetus
  8. What is testicular torsion + CC+ how is it diagnosed?
    • twisting of the spermatic cord resulting in loss of blood flow and nerve function to the testicle
    • CC = testicular pain
    • US scrotum -> assesses blood flow to testicles
  9. What is ovarian torsion + CC + how is it diagnosed?
    • twisting of an ovarian artery reducing blood flow to an ovary, possible resulting in infarct of the ovary
    • CC = lower abdominal pain (RLQ or LLQ)
    • US pelvis -> assesses blood flow to ovaries
