  1. What is speed?
    This is the distance an object travels in a given time
  2. State the SI unit for speed
    Metres per second (m/s)
  3. What is the equation for speed?
    Speed = Distance ÷ Time
  4. What is velocity?
    This is the speed of an object and the direction it is travelling in eg. 100 km/h south
  5. What is the equation for velocity?
    Velocity = Displacement (metres) ÷ Time Taken (second)
  6. What is acceleration?
    This is when there is a change in speed over a given period of time
  7. State the SI unit for acceleration
    m/s2
  8. What is the equation for acceleration?
    Acceleration = Change in speed ÷ Time taken
  9. What are scalar quantities?
    These have a magnitude (size) and do not take place in any direction eg. distance, speed and time
  10. What are vector quantities?
    These have both magnitude and direction eg. velocity
