  1. Stimulus Discrimination
    A condition response elicited (drawn out) only by the original condition stimulus.
  2. Extinction
    The elimination of the condition response by repeatedly presenting the condition stimulus without the UCS.
  3. Instrumental Conditioning
    E. Thorndike (Scientist) he studied a cat. He wanted to see if you could teach a cat a behavior that he normally does not do.
  4. Law of Effect
    • 1-Behaviors that produce a pleasant effect, or consequence, are repeated.
    • 2- Behaviors that produce a non-pleasant effect, or consequence, are not repeated or are stopped.
