  1. central tendency
    the statistical measure to determine a single score that defines the center of a distribution
  2. mean
    the sum of scores divided by the number of scores
  3. characteristics of the mean (change the mean)
    • - changing a score

    • - multiplying or dividing each score by a constant
  4. median
    the midpoint of the scores listed from lowest to highest
