- history of herpetic keratitis
- aphakia, pseudophakia, torn posterior lens/capsule, known risk factors of macular oedema --> increased risk

Common >1% PGA adverse effects
- iris hyperpigmentation: gradual, months to years, irreversible
- eyelash changes: gradual, darkening, lengthening, thickening, reversible when tx stopped
- conjunctival hyperaemia
- allergic conjunctivitis
- eye irritation: grittiness, itching, stinging
- blepharitis
- punctate keratitis
- blurred vision
- headache
