    - MOA
    Unfractionated Heparin (UFH)

    MOA: binds to antithrombin (AT) --> inactivates Thrombin (Factor IIa) and Factor Xa
  2. Low Molecular Weight Heparins (2)
    - MOA
    • Enoxaparin (Lovenox)
    • Dalteparin (Fragmin)

    MOA: binds to antithrombin (AT) --> have greater affinity for inactivating Factor Xa than Factor IIa (thrombin)
  3. Direct Factor Xa Inhibitor _ ORAL (3)
    - MOA
    • Rivaroxaban (Xarelto)
    • Apixaban (Eliquis)
    • Edoxaban (Savaysa)

    MOA: directly inhibits Factor Xa
