    • children learn by watching and listening and doing
    • children do not speak
  3. Problem Orientation
    • "The Indian Problem"
    • viewing Indigenous communities, children's education, the BC curriculum as things that need to be fixed
  4. Indigenous Teaching
    everyone in the community is simultaneously a learner and a teacher
