    • Repiratory: 20% increase in O2 consumption. 40% increase in tidal volume
    • Cardiovascular: Maternal blood volume increases by 45%. HR increases by 10-15 bpm.
    • GI: N/V common
    • Urinary: More urinary output
    • Musculoskeletal: Loosens pelvic joints. Low back pain.

    Placenta seperates from uterine wall causing significant hemorrhage.
