- Fenders on stern.
- Line runs from stern to pontoon cleat midships.
- Release all lines except stern spring.
- When ready ready, rudder to neutral, reverse prop.
- Bow will move away from pontoon.
- Release stern spring and apply forward prop.

Bow Spring Departure
- Better is stronger onshore winds.
- Fenders on bow.
- Line runs from bow to pontoon cleat midships.
- Forward prop with wheel turned AWAY from pontoon will force boat onto pontoon.
- Release all lines except bow spring.
- Turn wheel to pontoon, stern will move away.
- When ready, rudder to neutral, reverse prop.
- Release bow spring.
