  1. What are the characteristics of epithelial tissues?
    • High Cellularity
    • Polar
    • Special contact
    • Avascular
    • Attachment
    • Regeneration
    • Innervation
  2. What is the basement membrane of ET?
    Basal lamina (ET) + Reticular Lamina = basement membrane
  3. Endocrine Glands (ET)
    Don't have a connection to the external surface- ductless glands that produce hormones
  4. Exocrine glands (ET)
    Secrete products into body surface (skin) or body cavities e.g. sweat, oil
