- molar relationship- MB cusp of upper first molar sits mesially of the lower first molar- between 5 and 6.
- Maxillary central incisors are retroclined, the lateral incisors may be proclaimed or normally inclined.
- Retroclined and a deep bite usually exists.

Class 3
- Prognathic
- Mandible appears more prominent.
- Molar relationship: mesiobuccal cusp of maxillary first molar occludes distally to mesiobuccal groove of mandibular first molar.
- Canine relationship: distal surface of the mandibular canine are medial to the mesial surface of the maxillary canines by at least the width of the premolar, mandibular incisors are in complete cross-bite.
