Main Space Flooding (MSF) Controlling Actions
- CAUTION: IF FLOODING CANNOT BE CONTROLLED BY INSTALLED DRAINAGE OR RISES TO LEVELS ENDANGERING EQUIPMENT OR PERSONNEL, PROCEED TO IMMEDIATE ACTIONS
- A. RCO order CRT man affected space
- B. When ordered, CRT man affected space
- C. CRT report to RCO "Manned & Ready"
- D. CRT conduct primary investigation
- E. CRT report source/location/est. GPM/level in bilge to RCO
- F. RCO secure affected equipment/source
- G. RCO order CRT secure/isolate affected equipment
- H. When ordered, CRT secure/isolate affected equipment
- I. RCO align main drain system to dewater affected space
- J. When required, RCO start fire pump as needed to maintain firemain pressure

- CAUTION: CLOSING HATCHES AND DOORS WILL RETARD FLOODING AND PREVENT PROGRESSIVE FLOODING
- WARNING: ALL ELECTRICAL POWER TO AFFECTED SPACE SHOULD BE SECURED IMMEDIATELY IN ORDER TO PREVENT ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND POSSIBLE OVERLOADING OF ONLINE SSDG

Main Space Flooding (MSF) Immediate Actions
- A. When required, RCO order CRT to man affected space
- B. When required, and when ordered, CRT man affected space
- C. When required, CRT report to RCO "Manned & Ready"
- D. RCO report to OOD "Uncontrollable flooding in ____. Isolating space, request all hands damage control be set"
- E. DCO establish comms with RCO
- F. When DCO reports manned & ready, RCO turn over control of DC efforts
- NOTE: Isolation will be set per isolation lists in RPM IAW NSTM 555
- G. RCO secure affected equipment in affected space
- H. Repair electrician electrically isolate affected space
- I. Repair electrician report "space electrically isolated"
- J. When flooding becomes uncontrollable, CRT evacuate affected space. Repair party ensure all hatches and doors are shut
- K. CRT report to DCO "Flooding uncontrollable. Space Evacuated"

- A. RCO isolate affected swbd
- B. RCO E stop affected SSDG. Ensure generator breaker opens
- C. RCO order CRT/Repair E to man affected space
- D. When ordered, CRT/Repair E man affected space and man firefighting equipment
- E. CRT/Repair E report to RCO "Manned & Ready & FF Equipment Manned"
- NOTE: Isolation will be set as per isolation lists in RPM IAW NSTM 555
- F. RCO order repair electrician to electrically isolate affected swbd
- G. When ordered, repair E electrically isolate affected swbd
- H. Repair E report to RCO "no_ swbd electrically isolated"
- I. RCO ensure standby SSDG starts
- J. RCO parallel standby SSDG to bus
- K. RCO report to OOD "Class C fire in No_ Swbd; No_SSDG stopped. Electrical plant configuration is ____"
