Imidazole
- In histamine
- (a pentagon with 2 Nitrogen (1 carbon in between them) also both with an alone pair, and 1 Nitrogen bonded to H. Also has 2 double bonds.

Purine
- A nitrogen ring system in DNA; present in anticancer drugs.
- An Imidazole attached to a benzene ring (although 2 carbons are replaced with N and again, each have an alone pair.

Indole
- In many alkaloids and drugs.
- A benzene ring attached to a pentagon that has double bond, and a C replaced by a N, again with an alone pair.

Piperidine
- In many drugs.
- A cyclohexane ring with a C replaced with a N that has an alone pair and attaches to a H.

Pyridine
- In several B vitamins.
- A benzene ring with a C replaced by a N ( alone pair).

Pyrimidine
- A nitrogen ring present in some B vitamins.
- A benzene ring with 2 carbons replaced with N.

Quinoline
- In antibacterial agents.
- A benzene ring attached to another benzene ring that has a N replacing a C and takes 1 double bond away from 1 of the benzene rings.
