1W – Fire light and one of the following confirms fire: smoke, flames, engine vibrations, unusual sounds, high ITT, fluctuating oil pressure, oil temperature, or hydraulic pressure
1. PCL – OFF
none
2. FIREWALL SHUTOFF HANDLE – PULL
None
3. FORCED LANDING – EXECUTE
None
4. EJECT (BOTH)
None
5. PEL - EXECUTE
2W – Fire warning with no accompanying indication is not a confirmed fire. DO NOT shut down an engine for an unconfirmed fire
3W – High engine compartment temperatures from a bleed air leak may cause FIRE warning light. Reducing the PCL will decrease the amount of bleed air and possibly extinguish warning. However, advancing PCL may be required for ELP. Continue to investigate for indications of confirmed fire.
4W – If fire can not be confirmed, fire warning system may be faulty. Test as conditions permit. If only one fire annunciator is illuminated, a false fire indication may exist if the other test good.
