  1. Strength
    maximum force that can be generated by a muscle or group of muscles for a single reptition
  2. Endurance
    ability of a muscle to generate force for an extended period of time
  3. Repetition
    one complete movement of an exercise
  4. Set
    some number of repetitions performed consecutively
  5. Overload Principle
    in order for positive effects of exercise to take place, the body must be subjected to greater stress than it's accustomed to
