If you can control moisture, you can control indoor mold-problems.

When humidity drops below 20%, membranes in human respiratory systems begin to dry up and individual's the ability to fight infection may be compromised.

I'ts estimated that the daily activity of an average family will release 3 gallons of moisture into the the air per day.

When air at a given temperature contains all the water vapor it can hold at that temperature it is said that it's realtive humidity is at 100%.

During heating periods. relative humidity should be above 25%.

When spores settle on exposed surfaces, they become part of the dust that forms in all  buildings. When dust gets wet the spores may germinate and begin to grow.
