    • (ex the number 1984. 84 is a multiple of 4)
  7. What does it mean if a number is divisible by 6?
    • the divisibility rules for 2 and 3 are met
    • (an even number for which the sum of the digits is a multiple of 3)
  8. What does it mean if a number is divisible by 9?
    sum of the digits is a multiple of 9

    (ex 243 the sum 2+4+3=9 so 243 is a multiple of 9)
