Science - Lab Safety & Equipment

1. Do not enter the lab without permission

2. Do not use any equipment unless allowed to do so by the teacher

3. Never rush around the lab

4. Always wear eye protection or gloves 

5. Long hair must be tied back during practical classes

6. Place your bag and coat safely out of the way

7. Nothing should be eaten, tasted or drunk in the lab

8. Any cut, burn or other accident must be reported at once to your teacher

9. All equipment should be cleaned and put back in its correct place after use

10. Always wash your hands after practical work

11. Make sure you know exactly what you are supposed to do.  If in doubt, ask your teacher
