    It was too weak to pay their bills.
  2. What did they do to improve the Articles of Conderation?
    They met and wrote a new document called the Constitution.
  3. What was Shay's Rebellion? Why were they fighting?
    They fought the state government so they wouldn't lose their homes.
  4. Explain "The Great Compromise" that was part of the Constitutional Convention.
    It was an agreement between the large states and the small states. Roger Sherman had the idea of two houses.

    James Madison
  6. What do we call the advisors to the Executive Branch?
    Cabinet
  7. What is impeachment? What happens after an official has been impeached?
    Impeachment is when a government official is accused of a crime. A trail is held by the Senate. If found guilty they must resign from their position.
  8. What does the term "rule of law" mean?
    The law applies to everybody. No special treatment.

    Legislative: makes laws, Senate & House of Representatives

    Executive: carrying out the laws, approve or veto laws, President

    judicial: interprets laws, settles disagreements, Judges
