Tell me about yourself?
As you may know my name is Frederick I graduated with a Network Security degree at Middlesex University. I have over 1 year of experience working as a 1st Line IT support at CBS, DINTS International and lately as a web editor at ALPHA, I have experience working with Active Directory, Mac Systems as well as Content Management Systems, My main responsibilities at CBS Interactive and Dints International were to create and deploy images into the machines using Windows Deployment System, do a daily check up of monitor server backups and I was the first point of contact when users were having trouble with any technical difficulties for example if their computer were running very slow or there were having issues accessing an incompatible excel file format then I had to troubleshoot and find a solution. Also I know how automate tasks by creating simple batch scripts. I am able to work as a part of team or individually. I take my job very seriously and I always willing to help, my friends know me for being reliable someone that they can come back and ask for advice. I am currently looking for the opportunity to work in a Christian environment where I am able face new challenges, learn and develop new skills and an organization that makes the best use of my knowledge

Why do you want to work here?
Because this is an amazing place to work for. The working environment here is very friendly. It would give me the opportunity to be surrounded with Christian people that share the same faith as me and I would be more than happy to help with any activities involved outside of the work office

Why do you choose this career?
Because technology is always evolving there is always new stuff to learn, I love to fix stuff and help people when they have any trouble with technical difficulties, it gives me a sense of accomplishment when people look happy after helping them fix their technical issues.

I have a unique combination of various technical skills and knowledge, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. I have experience working with different technologies and also I can help any customer that have any technical difficulties by person, email or phone making it easier for them to understand using non technical words

What does DHCP stand for and what it does?
DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol and it's a service that is provided by server to automatically assign IP address to workstations this eliminates the need to configure each computer manually which can be time consuming specially in medium and large organizations. Uses port 67 & 68

What does DNS stand for and what it does?
DNS stands for Domain Name System, is an Internet service used by servers to translate domain names into IP addresses. DNS uses port 53.

How do you deploy an image into machines?
First of all you have to connect your PC to your private network-Then boot on PXE by pressing one of the keys normally F12-Then you will see 2 options one to create and another to deploy images-In this case you select install the image and press Enter, then click next-Then you will see a list of OS and you select the one you want-And then you select the partition you want to install the image and click next and click ok-Now windows start to install and you have to wait a few minutes-The system will reboot after installation and you are done.

How do you capture an image from a machine?
-Make sure you first install windows OS on your PC and patches or updates required that your system needs.-Once your PC is ready for deployment connect it to your private network where your WDS is connected then run sysprep.-On the system cleanup action, select OOBE, and check generalizae-On the shutdown options, choose shutdown-Once your PC reboots boot into PXE by pressing one of the keyboards, normally F12-Then you will have 2 options one to install image or capture image-In this case you select capture image and hit enter--Then you have to follow the Windows Deployment Services Image Capture Wizard and click next.-Select the volume you want to capture-On the image name box , type Windows 7 Image and click next-Then upload the image to the Windows Deployment Service-On the server name type the IP address of the WDS server, then click connect-Then enter your credentails, then click next and wait for minutes to finish capturing the image.
