  1. What is Resolution?
    The ability to distinguish between two points of an image - the amount of detail.
  2. What is Magnification?
    How much bigger a sample appears compared to real life.
  3. How do you work out Magnification?
    • Total Magnification = Objective Magnification x Eyepiece Magnification
    • Magnification = Size of Image ÷ Actual Size
