CBFF - Pilot flame

  1. Pilot flame too big/lifting off
    • Excessive gas pressure.
    • Over sized pilot injector.
    • Incorrect adjustment.
    • Fan failing.
    • Air pressure switch/air flow or hoses, thermistor(s) faulty.
    • Flue pipe has become disconnected.
  2. Pilot flame too short
    • Insufficient gas pressure.
    • Partially blocked pilot injector.
    • Incorrect adjustment.
    • Partially blocked pilot gas filter.
    • Partilly blocked pilot supply tubes.
  3. Pilot flame extinguishing
    • Excessive draughts.
    • Vitiated air.
    • Explosive ignition.
    • Pilot flame incorrectly located or thermocouple out of position.
    • Pilot flame too short to reach thermocouple.
    • Fan failing.
