Card Set German Plurals
Description German plurals are formed in a variety of ways. A small number end in -s.
Many masculine nouns form their plural by an -e ending or an umlaut plus the -e ending.
If a masculine noun ends in -en, er, or -el , there is no additional ending, but sometimes and umlaut is added.
Many feminine nouns form their plurals by an -n or -en ending.
Many neuter nouns add an -er some also adding an umlaut, but if the noun ends in -hen or -lein no ending is required.
