The Enabling Act

  1. March 1933
    The date Hitler was able to pass the Enabling act, therfore Hitler could make his own laws.
  2. Catholic Centre Party
    Hitler made a deal with them that he would help the Catholic church's interests if they voted for the act. And they agreed.
  3. SA Intimidation
    The bullying strongly persuaded other Reichstag Parties to vote for the Enabling act
  4. Enabling Act
    Act gave Hitler the right to pass any law he wanted, making Germany a DICTATORSHIP
  5. July 1933 (Enabling Act)
    Date other polictical parties were banned which meant Germany became a ONE PARTY STATE
  6. Trade Unions
    Were banned because of no opposition. Were replaced by the Nazi run German Labour Front.
