    Spatial placement: relates to targeting of drug to a specific organ or tissue

    temporal delivery: refers to controlling the rate of delivery to target tissue
  2. What is drug blood level?
    concentration of drug in blood or plasma
  3. Why does intravenous or
    extravascular route (orally, rectally, etc) doses not maintain the drug blood
    level within the therapeutic range for extended periods of time?
    Inability of conventional dosage forms to control temporal delivery
