4.) What does the amber SPEEDBRAKES EXTENDED light indicate?
- In flight –
- – SPEED BRAKE lever is beyond the ARMED position, &
- – TE flaps extended > flaps 10, or
- – Radio altitude < 800 ft
- On the ground –
- – SPEED BRAKE lever is in the DOWN detent &
- – Ground spoilers are not stowed.

5.) What does the amber STAB OUT OF TRIM light indicate?
- Operates only with autopilot engaged
- Illuminated – Autopilot not trimming stabilizer properly.

6.) What does the amber AUTO BRAKE DISARM light indicate?
- Illuminated:
- - SPEED BRAKE lever moved to down detent during RTO or landing.
- - Manual brakes applied during RTO or landing.
- - Thrust lever(s) advanced during RTO or landing.
- (Except during first 3 seconds after touchdown for landing)
- - Landing made with RTO selected.
- - RTO mode selected on ground.
- (Illuminates for one to two seconds then extinguishes.)
- - A malfunction exists in automatic braking system.
- Extinguished:
- - AUTO BRAKE select switch set to OFF.
- - Autobrake armed.

7.) What does the amber ANTI SKID INOP light indicate?
A system fault is detected by antiskid monitoring system.

8.) What does the amber COWL ANTI-ICE light indicate?
Illuminated (amber) – indicates an overpressure condition in duct downstream of engine cowl anti-ice valve.

9.) What does the amber REVERSER light indicate?
- Illuminated – one or more of following has occurred:1 - Auto-restow circuit has been activated.
- 2 - One or more Thrust reverser sleeves are not in commanded state.
- 3 - Isolation valve or thrust reverser control valve is not in commanded position.
- 4 - A failure has been detected in Synchronization shaft lock circuitry.

Also illuminates when TR is commanded to stow & extinguishes 10 sec. later when the reverser sleeves are fully stowed & isolation valve is closed. If light stays on for > 12 sec. the MASTER CAUTION & ENG annunciator lights come on. (CC)

10.) What does the amber ENGINE CONTROL light indicate?
Illuminated – engine control system is not dispatchable due to faults in system.
- Light operates when:
- 1 - Engine is operating &,
- 2 - Aircraft on ground &:
- - < 80 kt prior to takeoff or,
- - Approximately 30 seconds after touchdown

11.) What does the amber APU LOW OIL PRESSURE light indicate?
- Illuminated:
- - During start until the APU oil pressure is normal.
- - Oil pressure is low causing an automatic shutdown (after start cycle is complete).
- - If light is illuminated when APU switch is placed to OFF, light extinguishes after 5 minutes.
- - Light is disarmed when APU switch is in OFF position.

- Illuminated:
- - APU RPM limit has been exceeded resulting in an automatic shutdown.
- - Overspeed shutdown protection feature has failed a self-test during a normal APU shutdown.
- - If light is illuminated when APU switch is placed to OFF, light extinguishes after 5 min.
- - Light is disarmed when the APU switch is in OFF position.

14.) What will cause the amber STANDBY PWR OFF light to illuminate?
- Illuminated - one or more of the following busses are unpowered:
- 1 - AC standby bus
- 2 - DC standby bus
- 3 - Battery bus

- Illuminated - Integrated drive generator (IDG) low oil pressure caused by one of the following:
- 1 - IDG failure
- 2 - Engine shutdown
- 3 - IDG automatic disconnect due to high oil temperature
- 4 - IDG disconnected through generator drive DISCONNECT switch

16.) What will cause the amber SOURCE OFF light to illuminate?
- 1 - No source has been manually selected to power the related transfer bus, or
- 2 - The manually selected source has been disconnected.
- - If a source has been selected to power the opposite transfer bus, both transfer busses are powered.

17.) What will cause the (blue) GEN OFF BUS light to illuminate?
IDG is not supplying power to the related transfer bus.

18.) What has happened if you get an amber OVERHEAT light above one of your Electric hydraulic pumps (A or B)?
- - Hydraulic fluid used to cool and lubricate the corresponding electric motor driven pump has overheated or the pump itself has overheated.
- - If an overheat is detected in either system, the related OVERHEAT light illuminates, power is removed from the pump, and the LOW PRESSURE light illuminates. (As installed)
- (On some installations, the pump is apparently not de-powered automatically, and just the related overheat warning light is illuminated)
