    • Insertion: greater tubercle of humerus
    • Action: lateral rotation at shoulder

    • Origin: Lateral one-third of the clavicle,acrimonium,and spine of thescapula
    • Insertion: deltoid tuberosity of humerus
    • Action: abducts shoulder, flexion and extension, medial and lateral rotation of humerus

    • Origin: upper 2/3rd of the lateral border of scapula
    • Insertion: greater tubercle of humerus
    • Action: lateral rotation at shoulder

    • Insertion: lesser tubercle of humerus
    • Action: medial rotation at shoulder
  10. Latissimus Dorsi
    • Origin: Inferior angle of the scapula, spinious process of the last six throacic vertebrae, last three of 4 ribs, thorcolumbar aproneurosis and posterior illiac crest
    • Insertion: intertubercular groove of the humerus
    • Action: extension, adduction, and medial rotation at shoulder
