• cabin altitude exceeds 9500 +/- 500 feet
• OXYGEN MASK - DON/100%

• L/R fire detector fail
• indicates a possible burn through of the fire detection system
• A fault exist in the system
• Accompanied with engine fire, continue BF

Windshield is approximately 130F, or a malfunction has occurred in the system

Windshield anti-ice switch - OFF

Overtemp - 310F

• Circuit breakers - CHECKED
• Horizontal stabilizer anti-ice - OFF
• Horizontal stabilizer deice - OFF

L/R engine oil pressure less than 40psi

• Check oil pressure
• Below 40 - Engine shutdown checklist

• L/R engine fuel pressure below 5.0 +/- 0.5 psi
• Failure of boost pump to come on if switch is in AUTO

• Boost pump - ON
• Jet Pump - OFF

• 7 degree main flap section asymmetry
• Lateral rolling and yawing is experienced during operation of the wing flaps

Moving flap handle out of detent will stop the movement of the flaps

L/R fuel feed chamber low 70#/ 11gal

• Fuel level - CHECK
• Boost pump - ON

• Fuel pressure in the L/R transfer lines below 5.0 +/-0.5 psi
• Check fuel in fuselage tanks

Fuel transfer pump - Check operation light is on

Wing tank has 200#/ 32gal or less useable fuel remaining

Land ASAP

• L/R wing tank pressure exceeds 3.5 +/-0.5 psi
• Malfunction of wing fuel level control pilot valves

• L/R fuel filter clogged
• Line pressure exceeds 2.3 +/-0.2 psi

Land ASAP

L/R oil filter is clogged

• L/R hydraulic pump failure
• Pressure less than 750 psi

• Engine electronic fuel control failure
• Will be illuminated on engine start till 38% N2
• Maximum thrust lost due to a EFC failure could be 40%

Engine EFC switch - Cycle ON

• Stall warning system failure
• Failure of the left system will be associated with the loss of all AOA indications

• L/R generator in/op or is isolated from its main bus
• Check voltage/ amps

The third feeder is active and at least one of the primary feeders has failed

DO NOT RESET L/R FDR CB

• Battery relay is open
• Normal if battery switch is in the OFF or EMER position
• Battery charging will not occur

• BATT CUT OFF + EMER BUS FDR FAIL
• Battery feeder protection unit discovered a battery ground fault
• Left load bus powers emergency bus

• Inverter NO. 1/2 has failed
• Frequency varies by +/-4%

L/R engine anti-ice temp below 120F

• Air conditioning system high temp 400F or high pressure 53 psi
• System will switch from normal to emergency pressure mode automaticaly

• Bleed air duct leak fail
• Pressure 3.5 +/-0.5 psi or temp 350F

Wing anti-ice switch - OFF

Defog air temp in excess of 200F

• Mode switch - MAN DUCT
• temp control - FULL COLD
• allow 2 minutes for cool air to reach sensor

Cabin area high temp sensed 390 +/-15F

• Mode switch - MAN DUCT
• Cabin temp control - FULL COLD
• allow 2 minutes for cool air to reach sensor

• The landing gear is extended, the anti-skid control switch is ON, and there is a loss of electrical power to the anti-skid control valve
• The gear is extended and the anti-skid control switch is in the OFF position
• A dump command is received for an extended period of time

• System failure; cabin pressure exceeds 11 +/-11 psi
• Cabin pressure differential exceeds 9.2 psid

• Bleed air selector - OFF
• takes approximately 10 sec for valve to close

Monitor differential pressure

Wing anti-ice temp high; one switch has closed 212F(2 switches)/ 350F(1 switch)

Wing anti-ice - OFF

Avionics rack cooling blower failure

• AV STBY BLO - push
• standby blower active

emergency bus feed line has lost power or RCCB has popped

Left load bus supplies power to emergency bus

Horizontal stabilizer deice system failure

• Circuit breakers - Check
• Horizontal stabilizer anti-ice - OFF
• Horizontal stabilizer deice - OFF

Entrance or aft fuselage door unlocked

Pitot heat off or failure

Hydraulic fluid level below 0.6 gallons

Rudder boost system failure
