Anything that has mass and takes up space

The temperature at which a solid changes into a liquid
Boiling point
The temperature at which a liquid changes into a gas
Solubility
A substances ability to dissolve in water
Density
A substances mass per cm cubed or mL cubed
Chemical Property
a property such as combustibility, reactivity with water, reactivity with air, toxicity, reactivity with acid, reactivity with a pure substance
Combustibility
an objects ability to burn in air
Toxicity
An objects ability to cause immediate harmful effects on plants and animals
Stability
A substances ability to resist chemical change
