    They can eucalyptus leaves that are very poisonous to other animals. therefore they have a good supply of food and are more likely to survive.

    They have a counter-current heat exchange. Warm blood entering the flippers flows past cold blood leaving. This warms the leaving blood and cools the entering blood, reducing heat loss.

    They don't fly away but stand up to predators, their warning colouration tells them they can sting so predators back down.
  7. How does the pattern of zebras help them with predators?
    Predators such as lions, when they attack, are unable to tell where one zebra ends and another begins so are partially confused.

    Reptile cannot regulate their body temperatures like mammals can. They need to warm up in the sun and cool off in the shade.
