• 9- glossopharyngeal - swallowing, urvula in the midline, test of gag reflex
• 10- Vagus - swallowing, tested w/ CN9
• 11- Spinal accessory - controls strength of neck and shoulder muscles
• 12- hypoglossal - control mvt of the tongue.
