    Local area network. Communications network that covers a limited geographical region such as a school

    Wide area network. Covers a large geo area such as a school district

    Wireless internet service provider. Company providing internet access to wireless modems or mobile comps

    Worldwide web which consists of a collection of electronic documents that have built-in hyperlinks to other related docs

    Electronic doc viewed on the web
  12. Web site
    Collection of related web pages. Each web page has a unique address called a URL
  13. Web 2.0
    Refers to web sites that allow users to modify web site content networking
  14. FTP
    File transfer protocol, an internet standard that allows you to exchange files with other computers on the internet.
