  1. Presentation of Paracetamol
    500mg tablet

    Varying dose syrups ie 24mg/1ml, 48mg/1ml
  2. Indications for Paracetamol
    Relief of minor pain and fever
  3. Contra-Indications of Paracetamol
    KSAR
  4. Precautions of Paracetamol
    • Hepatic or renal dysfunction
    • Patients taking anticoagulent medications
  5. Side effects of Paracetamol
    Nausea
  6. Dosage of Paracetamol - Adult
    500mg-1g orally every 4 hours, total max daily dose not to exceed 4g (8 tablets)
  7. Dosage of Paracetamol- Child
    15mg/kg orally
