pump can lose no more than ten (10) inches of Mercury in one minute to pass
PREPARATION FOR QUICK LIFT AND FURTHER TESTING
Attach stream straightener and water choke valve to front 2 ½" discharge on panel side
Attach (2) 100' 2 ½" hoses to far side outlets
Attach (1) 50' 2 ½" hose to panel (1250 GPM
Attach (2) 50' 2 ½" hoses to panel (1500 GPM
Attach proper tip to collector nozzle (as found on chart
QUICK LIFT TEST
Water should attain pressure in a maximum of 30 seconds for?
1250 GPM pump or 45 seconds for 1500 GPM pump
100% CAPACITY TEST......... Testing gauges must read
150 PSI pump pressure at 100% capacity
100 PSI nozzle pressure per chart
Set timer for 20 minutes and start
NOTE: When adjusting RPM to obtain proper nozzle and pump pressure, closing line valves will increase pump pressure and decrease nozzle pressure
NOTE: Any time engine temperature exceeds manufacturer’s recommended maximum temperature, start cool down procedures. Discontinue test if temperature exceeds maximum temperature by 10Ε Fahrenheit
10% OVERLOAD TEST
With all valves set at 100% capacity test specifications, attempt to pump 165 PSI pump pressure
NOTE: This is an acceptance requirement only. It shows the condition of the pump
70% CAPACITY TEST
Increase RPM to 200 PSI pump pressure
Set timer for 10 minutes
50% CAPACITY TEST
Procedures are the same as 70% Capacity test, but to 50% specifications
