Press the "ON/OFF" button
Allow unit to perform self tests and self check (within 2 min)

Fresh Air Setup (FAS):
Once instrument self check is complete, ZERO? flashes for 10 seconds
To perform a Fresh Air Setup, push the ON/OFF button while ZERO? is flashing

To bypass the Fresh Air Setup:

Press RESET or do not push any buttons while ZERO? is flashing. After 10 seconds have expired the Fresh Air Setup will not be performed

Battery Warning:
Indicates a nominal 15 minute of operation remains.
- Battery life indicator flashes.
- Alarm sounds
- "BATT WRN" and lights flash every 15 seconds
- Leave atmosphere and replace batteries when a "Battery Warning" condition occurs

Sunday checks ensure the following:
Ensure battery life is greater than 50%
Ensure 3 additional AA batteries are available
- Ensure extension tube is present and functional
- Ensure pump is present and functional

Calibration:
Perform full calibration semi-annually.
DESIGNATED UNITS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY LOGISTICS.

Send unit to Logistics to recheck calibration sooner if any of the following occurs:
High impact physical shock
Exposure to high levels of contaminants
Exposure to lead-containing compounds
Exposure to Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) 50 ppm for more than one minute or any exposure over 200 ppm
