  33. What is Darwin's theory?
    Natural selection. If a mutation benefits an animal in their environment then they are more likely to survive and reproduce. Their offspring may receive this mutation and so on.
  34. What is Lamarck's theory?
    An animal changes over its lifetime based on its experiences and will pass on these changes. The reason it was disproved is because you can not change DNA during your life
  35. Why was Darwin's theory not well received?
    It went against the teachings of the bible and was very different to that of previous theories. Darwin also had little evidence.
  36. What are finite resources?
    A source that will run out and can not be easily replaced. An example of this is oil, which is made of the fossils of animals that died millions of years ago
  37. What is exponential growth?
    The more individuals there are in a population, the faster it grows.
