Whole numbers:

Numbers 0+, not including decimals (cannot be negative)
Integers:

positive and negative numbers, not including decimals
Rational numbers:

all numbers that repeat themselves or ends (also numbers that are ratios)
Irrational numbers:

all numbers that don't repeat, and go in random order (numbers that cannot be a ratio)
