Apley's Test instructions
- pt prone
- knee flexed to 90*
- apply compression while internally & externally rotating foot
Bounce Home Test instructions
- knee in slight flexion
- allow knee to passively extend
- if tear is present knee may not completely extend
Valgus Stress Test
- supine
- knees extended
- flex knee to 20-30*
- push medially on fibular head
- counterforce ankle
Varus Stress Test
- supine knees extended
- flex knee to 20-30*
- apply compression on proximal tibia pushing laterally
- counterforce on ankle
Anterior Drawer Test
- supine
- knee flexed 90*
- sit on foot
- cup hands around knee
- draw tibia anteriorly
Posterior Drawer Test
- supine
- knee flexed 90*
- sit on foot
- cup hands around knee
- push tibia posteriorly
Lachman Test
- supine
- knee flexed to 30*
- stabilize femur with one hand
- draw tibia forward
