Hypersensitivity to abuterol, tachycardia, dysrhthmias, especially those caused by digitalis. 

• headache, irritability, restlessness, agressive behavior, pulomnary edema, hypertension, tachycardia, CP, N+V,
• Adverse reactions often dose related.

tricyclic antidepressants may potentiate vasculature effects. Beta blockers and antagonistic and may block pulmonary effects. May potentiate hypokalemia caused by diuretics.

2.5 mg nebulized over 10 min, MDI 1-2 inhalations every 5 min 90-180ug

Onset:5-15 Min Duration 3-4 hrs

sympathomimetic, bronchodilator

Stimulates Beta 2 receptors, 

1.25mg-2.5mg in 3ml administered by neb every 20 min to a max of 3 doses

Brethine

Beta 2 adrenergic agonist, bronchodilator

Bronchial asthma, reversible bronchospasm assoc with exercise, chronic bronchitis, emphysema

.25mg SC may repeat 15-30 min, max dose .5mg in 4 hr period

May potentiate ischemia more than others, need O2 pre and during med admin, increasing coughing may increase etopic beats.
