  1. GI(Digestive)Tract consists of: Oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine and anus

    Accessory Digestive Organs aid in the breakdown of foodstuffs:Teeth, tongue, gallbladder, salivary glands, liver, and pancreas

  2. A muscular tube that winds through the body and is responsible for the digestion and absorption of food
    The Digestive or Gastrointestional Tract (GI tract)
  3. The Digestive Tract is composed of four tunics:
    • Mucosa
    • Submucosa
