    • Insertion: Coracoid Process of scapula
  2. Trapezius
    • Origin: Occipital bone; ligamentum nuchae; spinous process of c7-t12
    • Insertion: Clavicle; acromion process and spine of scapula
  3. Latissimus Dorsi 
    (Action only)
    Extends arm
  4. Pectoralis Major (3)
    • Origin: Medial clavicle; costal cartilages of ribs 2-6; body of sternum
    • Insertion: Lateral part of intertubercular groove of Humerus
    • Action: Flexes Arm
  5. Deltoid (3)
    • Origin: Acromial end of clavicle; acromion and spine of scapula 
    • Insertion: Deltoid tuberosity of humerus 
    • Action: Abducts the arm
  6. Triceps Brachii (3/3)
    • Origin: Long Head- Infraglenoid tubercle of scapula    Lateral Head- Posterior humerus above radial groove  Medial Head- Posterior humerus below radial groove
    • Insertion: Olcranon of Ulna
    • Action: Extends forearm
  7. Supraspinatus (2)
    • Origin: Supraspinous fossa of scapula
    • Insertion: Greater tubercle of humerus
  8. Infraspinatus (2)
    • Origin: Infraspinous fossa of scapula 
    • Insertion: Greater tubercle of humerus
  9. Teres Minor
    • Origin: Upper dorsal lateral border of scapula(Superior to teres major)
    • Insertion: Greater Tubercle of humerus
  10. Biceps Brachii (2/2)
    • Origin: Long head- Supraglenoid tubercle of scapula    Short head- Coracoid process of scapula 
    • Insertion: Radial tuberosity and bicipital aponeruosis
  11. Brachialis Action
    Flexes forearm
  12. Brachioradialis (2)
    • Origin: Lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus
    • Insertion: Styloid process of radius
  13. Action of Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
    Flexes wrist
  14. Action of Extensor Digitorum
    Extends fingers
  15. Psoas Major  (2)
    • Origin: Transverse process and bodies of t12-l5 vertebra 
    • Insertion: Lesser trochanter of femur with iliacus
  16. Iliacus (2)
    • Origin: Iliac Fossa 
    • Insertion: Lesser trochanter of femur with psoas major
  17. Sartorius
    • Origin: Anterior superior iliac spine
    • Insertion: Tibial tiberosity, medial side
  18. Rectus Femoris (2)
    • Origin: Anterior inferior iliac spine
    • Insertion: Quadriceps tendon to patella and then patellar ligament to tibial tuberosity
  19. Adductor Longus (2)
    • Origin: Pubis near pubic symphysis 
    • Insertion: Linea aspera of femur

    • Origin: Inferior ramus and body of pubis
    • Insertion: Upper medial surface of tibia
  21. Tensor Fasciae Latae (2)
    • Origin: Iliac crest and lateral surface of anterior superior iliac spine 
    • Insertion: Illiotibial band
  22. Gluteus Maximus (3)
    • Origin: Iliac crest, sacrum, coccyx
    • Insertion: Illiotibial tract of fascia lata; linea aspera and gluteal tuberosity of femur
    • Action: Extends the thigh
  23. Gluteus Medius (3)
    • Origin: Posterior iliac crest; lateral surface between posterior and anterior gluteal lines 
    • Insertion: Greater trochanter of femur
    • Action: Abducts the thigh
  24. Biceps Femoris (2)
    • Origin: Long head- Ischial tuberosity   Short head- Linea aspera of femur
    • Insertion: Head of fibula
  25. Semimembranosus (2)
    • Origin: Ischial tuberosity
    • Insertion: Posterior surface of medial condyle of tibia
  26. Semitendinosus (2)
    • Origin: Ischial Tuberosity 
    • Insertion: Proximal medial surface of tibia
