What is communication?

Communication helps us meet what needs in Maslows heirachy needs?

What is a stimulus?
(initiation)

What is a source?

What is the message?
actual physiological product of the source
What is the channel?
how the sender is choosing to send the message

anything that can interrupt the message getting to any point

people/groups within an organization communicate to achieve goals.

how people within the group relate to one another while trying to work towards a goal.
What is theraputic communication?
the ability to communicate with pt and with other nurses for effective use of the nurse process.
