Characteristics of a nerve
- have defined targets (organ, muscle, etc.)
- concerned with travel outside of the CNS
- most are mixed sensory and motor function
Build a nerve
- axons, each surrounded by endoneurium bundle together within perineurium to make a fasicle
- fasicles bundle together inside epineurium to make a spinal nerve.
