a bend in layers of rock sometime caused by plate movement

A crack or break in the Earth's crust
Faults
Water within the Earth that supplies well and springs
Groundwater
Fin, yellowish-brown topsoil made up of particles of silt and Clay usually carried by Wind
Loess
Large body of ice that moves across the surface of the Earth
Glacier
Piles of Rocky debris left by melting glaciers
Moraines
Chemical or physical processes such as freezing that breaks down rocks
Whethering
Wearing away of the earth's surface by wind flowing water or glacier
Erosion
The process of excess water vapor changing into liquid water when warm air cools
Condensation
The removal of salt from sea water to make it usable for drinking and farming
Desalination
Regular movement of water from ocean to air to ground and back to the ocean
Water cycle
The process of converting into vapor
Evaporation
Moisture that falls to the Earth as rain sleet hail or snow
Precipitation
Underground water-bearing layers of Porous rock sand or gravel
