  2. Endorphins
    Released during the stress response and act as pain-blocking agents.
  3. Homeostasis
    The body's constantly responding to minor changes in the environment as compensation.
  4. Lipolysis
    Breakdown of lipids and involves hydrolysis of triglycerides into free fatty acids
  5. Maladaptive
    When the body's systems become more disruptive and inappropriate behavior can occur.
  6. Physiologic
    Changes in fluid balance or blood pressure to balance for homeostasis.
